MediMinder ("we", "our", or "the app") is a medication reminder and appointment tracker developed by cipStudioz. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

MediMinder does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information you enter stays entirely on your device:

• Medication names, dosages, schedules, and photos
• Doctor appointment details and notes
• BMI records and daily journal entries
• Medical reports and attachments you add
• App preferences (theme, alarm sound, notification settings)

This data is stored locally using your device's private app storage and is never sent to any server or third party.

Permissions Used

• Notifications – to deliver medicine and appointment reminders on time.
• Exact Alarms – to ensure reminders ring at the exact scheduled time.
• Vibration, Wake Lock & Full-Screen Alerts – to alert you reliably, even when the screen is off or locked.
• Boot Completed – to reschedule alarms after a device restart.
• Camera – to take medicine photos, only when you choose to.
• Storage / File Picker – to save medicine photos and medical reports, and to let you pick a custom alarm sound; files are copied to private app storage and are never shared.
• Battery Optimization Exemption – to keep alarms reliable in the background.

None of these permissions are used to track you or collect data.

Third-Party Services

MediMinder does not integrate any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDK. The app does not require an internet connection for any of its core features; all reminders, records, and health data work fully offline.

Data Storage & Security

All app data is stored in your device's private app storage, which is inaccessible to other apps (unless your device is rooted). No account or sign-in is required. Uninstalling MediMinder will permanently delete all stored data.

Children's Privacy

MediMinder is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information, there are no special concerns regarding children's data.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this Privacy Policy, the new version will be posted at the same URL and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
